Additionally, Commerce actually does have a workaround to delete its own fields when you uninstall modules, but there may be a related issue with respect to what it actually means to delete a field. The curious can refer to my comment further down in that linked thread where I fixed uninstallation in July:

http://drupal.org/node/858722#...

If we ever change field data between releases, I'd just write direct SQL queries if API functions did not exist to make appropriate changes before I recommended someone uninstall and reinstall. However, if you did need to uninstall Commerce for some other reason, it should still work just fine if you follow the instructions at the bottom of this page:

http://drupal.org/node/1007434

Caveat emptor: in a test just now, I do see that certain modules may be uninstallable due to fields they define being used. It'll never be a walk in the park, but you should also never have to take the walk on a normal update. : )

Re: Overstock.com Busted Again – Using Black Hat SEO

Look, I even linked Overstock.com link in there, another link, to help them out as they apparently need it.
One would hope that Google is not counting any of the links from these pages that seem to be parasitic link pages.

Re: Local SEO 2011 at DFWSEM with Chris Silver Smith

You made some good
points there. I do have half a mind to start a "People of Walmart"-like website, called something like "Hot Messes On Campus" Where people basically spot the ridicoulous outfits people wear (Like #ZebraGirl) and take pics / spread them organically.

Seems like there would be a market for it.

Re: DFW SEM: Interview with Ryan from The Boss Group

Great discussion and insight into Linkedin / social media and how recruiters use these tools on a regular basis.

Re: DFW SEM: Interview with Ryan from The Boss Group

Such great insight!

Re: How will schema.org affect SEO?

Hello its very nice post. Its gives a natural perferances to pages that give a clear window in the content. The video clip is also very informative.I like this article so much.Keep sharing with us

Re: How will schema.org affect SEO?

Thanks Eric. Timely and informative as always!

Re: WordPress Site Hacked: Hacked Aftermath Guide

I wrote a book on WordPress security after I had my wife's site hacked.
